{"id":2624,"date":"2026-09-20T11:50:55","date_gmt":"2026-09-20T11:50:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/basicchristian.org\/wordpress\/?p=2624"},"modified":"2026-09-20T11:50:55","modified_gmt":"2026-09-20T11:50:55","slug":"the-christian-agape-feast","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/basicchristian.org\/wordpress\/2026\/09\/20\/the-christian-agape-feast\/","title":{"rendered":"The Christian Agape Feast"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Christian Feast &#8211; The Agape (Highest Love) Feast &#8211; The Christian Communion the Bread and the Wine of the &#8220;New Covenant&#8221; of Jesus Christ are a part of the ongoing &#8220;Agape Feast&#8221; that the Christian Church is a continual participant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All of the Jewish Feasts for the Christian Church have esentually been combined into the current and ongoing Christian Agape Feast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2606 The Christian Communion &#8211; The New Covenant Bread and Wine of Jesus Christ are a part of the Christian Agape Feast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Christian Feasts<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Christmas = Yom Kippur<br>\u2022 Thanksgiving = Feast of Tabernacles<br>\u2022 New Year&#8217;s = Feast of Trumpets<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Sunday Church = Pentecost<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Holy Week (Easter) = Passover<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For I (Apostle Paul) received from the Lord (Jesus Christ) what I also passed on to you (Christians): on the night (Passover) when He was betrayed, the Lord Jesus took bread, gave thanks, broke it, and said, &#8220;This is My body, which is for you. Do this [Agape Feast] in remembrance of Me.&#8221; In the same way He also took the cup (Communion), after supper, and said, &#8220;This cup is the New Covenant in My blood.
